FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

Question: Is this ALL you do?

Answer: No.  We can handle most of your legal needs and have associations with expert attorneys in specialized areas.  We also have extensive experience with the Federal "Real Estate Settlement Practices Act" which attempts to prevent mortgage company abuses, and requires mortgage companies to handle their customer' loans properly.  These cases sometimes tie into bankruptcy issues.

Question: Is there any such thing as a "medical bankruptcy"?

Answer: No.  All debts that are owing when you file must be listed on the bankruptcy.

Question:  Where can I complete credit counseling?

Answer:  You will be required to complete debtor education (pre-discharge) as well as credit counseling (pre-filing).  Many of our clients have had success using  www.bankruptcycertificate.com for both of these services,  however you may use any U.S. Trustee approved credit counseling service.
